Medicare Part D is an optional form of coverage with Medicare that’s largely designed to cover the costs associated with any drugs or medications that you require. Part A and Part B Medicare only cover a small portion of medications, primarily medications that you receive as a hospital inpatient or ones that you’re provided with at a doctor’s office in an outpatient setting
What is Medicare Advantage – Part C
Medicare Advantage Part C is a type of Medicare plan that is offered by private insurance companies and includes the same coverage as Part A and Part B (and usually Prescription Drug Coverage – part D)
What is Medicare Part B
Part B is for Medical insurance including coverage for doctor services and outpatient medical care. Many of the health care services Medicare Part A doesn’t cover is covered by Medicare Part B.
